Currently, the system imposes no overall limits on file upload. You should note the following points however:

  • ePortfolios have settable per-portfolio limits. ePortfolio authors can also limit file types, for example to ensure compliance with exam board requirements.
  • Large file transfers by many students may overload your school network. Students are generally unaware of the filesize issue so it's best to impose limits yourself.
  • We did not design the system to host really large video files (100MB+), and would probably ask you to remove them. Specialist video hosting services such as Veoh will in any case give you much more reliable streaming of videos.
