Exemplar System: Database Tables
The database will need 3 tables linked by relationships so that the data can be used effectively.
Each table will contain fields that hold particular data that is relevant to the system. These are shown below.
Borrowed CDs Table
There are two primary key fields in the Borrowed CDs table to prevent:
- a CD apparently being booked out twice during the same period of time.
- a customer borrowing more than one CD at a time (this is what Mr Smith wants).
