School Groups update
Why are we asking you about your school?
Approximately 20% of secondary school teachers in the UK are Yacapaca members, so it is probable that there are several other teachers in your school who use Yacapaca, even if you are not aware of their usage. Some of them may be more experienced than you and be able to help you with the intricacies of the system - conversely, you may be the most experienced and they could benefit from their help.
To facilitate this, we are now (Oct 2010) introducing School Groups. To get started, we are asking you to confirm which school you belong to (from an official list) and also to confirm which other Yacapaca members teach at your school.
As we begin to accurately identify who is in which school, we will introduce new features that make mutual support easier. The result should be that you get more use out of your favourite e-assessment service, with less frustration.
Some of the resources we plan to introduce are:
- share resources instantly within the school
- online help from your colleagues
- easier co-teaching
- share assessment results and analysis, with appropriate permissions
